Commercial Tenant Improvement – Restaurant Build

ABOUT
Located in Vancouver’s vibrant Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, the Giusti project involved transforming a historic building into an elevated restaurant space—without losing the character and charm that made the property unique.
With a fast-tracked timeline and the need to preserve original architectural elements, this build required precision, creativity, and seamless coordination.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Our clients envisioned a warm, elevated dining space that respected the building’s heritage. The challenge was completing a full tenant improvement—including custom fabrication—within a short period of time.
Preserving the historic feel while modernizing key elements became the core of the design and construction approach.

CUSTOM BAR AND FEATURE MILLWORK
We crafted a stunning custom bar using a combination of premium millwork and metal fabrication. This feature instantly grounds the restaurant with a sense of sophistication and timeless craftsmanship.

EXPOSED & RESTORED BRICKWORK
During demolition, we uncovered the hidden brick wall that held decades of character. We sandblasted and refinished it to serve as a warm, authentic backdrop that highlights the restaurant’s historic roots.
The finished space blends old-world charm with refined modern details. We completed the project ahead of schedule, allowing the restaurant to open earlier than planned—something the owners were thrilled about.
