The Marinaside Residence project was a complete top-to-bottom transformation designed to turn an existing house into our clients’ forever dream home. The vision was clear: create a warm, welcoming space where they could raise their family, build lasting memories, and host friends with ease. Every element of the home was thoughtfully reimagined to balance beauty, functionality, and long-term durability.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

Our clients wanted a home that felt open, timeless, and designed for real life. Achieving their dream layout required significant structural modifications, including major beam installation and careful engineering coordination. A key milestone in the project was receiving our building permit from the District of West Vancouver in record time—allowing construction to move forward efficiently and without delays.

SRUCTRUAL ENGINEERED BEAM INSTALLATION

To create the open-concept kitchen our clients envisioned, we installed a 14-foot structural engineered beam. This critical structural upgrade allowed us to remove load-bearing walls and completely redefine the main living space, delivering a bright, expansive heart of the home perfect for entertaining and everyday family life.

DREAM KITCHEN AND LIVING SPACES

The newly opened layout centers around a beautifully designed kitchen tailored to both functionality and style. With improved flow and sightlines throughout the main floor, the home now feels cohesive, spacious, and ideal for hosting.

SPA INSPIRED PRIMARY ENSUITE

The primary suite was transformed into a private oasis. Featuring luxurious finishes, calming textures, and a spa-inspired design, the ensuite offers a serene retreat within the home—perfect for unwinding at the end of the day.
